Marketing Major (MKTG), BBA


Requirements


Liberal Arts: 44 Hours


All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts  program. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

  • ECON 2010  satisfies 3 hours of Self and Society.

Recommended:

  • MATH 1200  is strongly recommended to prepare for BUS 3265 .
  • IB 3950  is recommended to satisfy 3 hours of Self and Society. 

Business Administration Core: 44 Hours


All Bachelor of Business Administration degree (B.B.A.) majors require a uniform Business Core of 44 hours. The purpose of the core is to provide an understanding of a generally recognized common body of knowledge in business. The Business Core consists of:

* MATH 1200  is strongly recommended to fulfill the Liberal Arts requirement in math for all B.B.A. degree majors and serves as the prerequisite for this course.

Marketing Requirements: 27 Hours


Students will take the following core marketing classes and also choose one concentration.

General Marketing Concentration


12 hours from:

Marketing Analytics Concentration


Modern Marketing Promotion Concentration


Choose 3 courses from:

Professional Sales Concentration


Remaining Bible/Electives: 13 Hours


BUS 4350 , included in the Business Core above, satisfies the Bible requirement in the semester it is taken.

Graduate Credit Note(s):


Up to 12 hours of graduate credit in the Accelerated Management and Business Ethics, BBA/MBA  or 12 hours of graduate credit in the Accelerated Information Systems, BA/MS or BBA/MS  graduate programs may be used to satisfy the requirements for the BBA and BA within the Paul R.
