BIOL 2425/2425L - Introductory Anatomy and Physiology II for Nurses Second half of a two-course sequence. This seven-week course covers basic concepts of anatomy and physiology that are necessary for nursing students using virtual and at-home laboratory exercises. Topics consist of the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive organ systems including terminology, immunity, heredity, development, and balances of fluids, electrolytes, and pH. Designed for students taking prerequisite coursework for the ABSN hybrid nursing program. Six hours of lecture and six hours of laboratory per week. This course cannot be applied to a degree outside the College of Nursing.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2400/2400L or BIOL 2420/2420L
