BIOL 2420/2420L - Introductory Anatomy and Physiology I for Nurses First half of a two-course sequence. This seven-week course covers basic concepts of anatomy and physiology that are necessary for nursing students using virtual and at-home laboratory exercises. Topics consist of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous organ systems including terminology, chemistry, cytology, histology and sensory function. Designed for students taking prerequisite coursework for the ABSN hybrid nursing program. Six hours of lecture and six hours of laboratory per week. This course cannot be applied to a degree outside the College of Nursing.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1010/1010L or CHEM 1020/1020L or a score of 18 or higher on the ACT
