Biology Research Minor

This minor is for students who wish to focus on biology research-based courses as an addition to their degree program. Having research experience and knowledge about laboratory techniques enhances student applications to graduate schools and professional programs in medicine. This minor includes courses focused on research training, including hands-on learning of experimental techniques, as well as training in writing and presenting about biology research. Other programs in the Department of Biology cannot earn this minor although students majoring in Human Biology may pursue a separate research minor .
