Food and Nutrition Major (FN), BS

All students interested in food, nutrition, and/or applied dietetics practice will start in the food and nutrition major program. Students who choose not to apply to the accelerated program in applied dietetics practice and want a career utilizing the knowledge of food and nutrition will now have a separate option at the undergraduate level that leads to a variety of careers.

This major allows courses to be shared with a minor from the same department.

Liberal Arts: 35 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts program. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major.

BIOL 1200 , CHEM 1010/1010L , and MATH 1200 or MATH 1330 satisfy 9 hours of Inquiry, Investigation, and Reasoning.
