Requirements

Liberal Arts: 30 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts  program. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• Biology, chemistry, and mathematics satisfy 9 hours of Inquiry, Investigation, and Reasoning.
• ENGR 3100  satisfies 4 hours of Self and Society. According to Arkansas State Law, international students are required to take POLS 1787 , which will increase the number of hours for the major.
• ENGR 1010  satisfies 3 hours of Aesthetics and the Creative Spirit.

Recommended:

• BDOC 2030  and BHIS 3040  or BHIS 3050  will count toward the Historical and Literary Perspective and reduce the number of required Bible/electives.

• BMIS 3000  is strongly recommended to satisfy 3 hours of Self and Society and reduce the number of required Bible/electives.
