Liberal Arts: 41 Hours
All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts program. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:
- EDFD 2030 and a modern foreign language satisfy 6 hours of Self and Society.
Additional Requirement:
- MATH 1200 or higher is required to satisfy 3 hours of Inquiry, Investigation, and Reasoning in accordance with the Liberal Arts policy.
Major: 33 Hours
Required hours include 21 upper-level hours, of which at least 9 must be 4000-level. Included in the 33 hours Spanish majors must complete at least one course including content from Spain (SPAN 3040 , SPAN 4010 , SPAN 4020 , SPAN 4050 ) and one from Latin American content (SPAN 3150 , SPAN 3250 , SPAN 4110 ).

Remaining Bible/Electives: 4 Hours
EDFD 4400 , counted above in the major, satisfies the Bible Enrollment requirement in the semester it is taken. Bible is not required during the supervised teaching semester.
