MATH 2300 - Precalculus


An integrated course recommended for chemistry majors, engineering majors, mathematics majors, and physics majors with a good background in mathematics. Topics may include elementary algebra, quadratic and higher order polynomial functions and graphs, roots, exponents, radicals, inequalities, logarithms, raito and proportion, variation, complex numbers, trigonometric functions, solution of right and oblique triangles with application, identities, and inverse functions. Students may not receive credit for 2300 and MATH 1320  and/or MATH 1330  and/or MATH 1340 .

Prerequisite(s): A score of 25 or higher on the Math ACT; or 590 or higher on the Math SAT; or 23 or higher on the CLT
