PSY 3671 - Psychology Internship I A psychology internship consists of 128 hours of supervised field or research experience and additional course assignments. It represents an integration of academic content into practice and promotes the development of skills. It also facilitates the student’s understanding of various roles and specializations within the field and provides an opportunity for the student to assess areas of interest.
Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing with a minimum of 18 hours of psychology courses completed, psychology or cognitive neuroscience major, 3.0 or higher GPA, and consent of the department chair. Specific internship sites may have additional requirements to apply or mandatory training in advance of the internship semester.
