CJ 2261 - Introduction to Criminal Justice


An analysis of the administration of criminal justice, including the structural components of the criminal justice system and the stages of the criminal process from the detection of crime and arrest through prosecution, adjudication, sentencing, and punishment/corrections and its alternatives; emphasis on analysis of decisions and practices within the entire criminal justice system, as well as discretion in the administration of criminal justice.
