CHEM 3740/3740L - Organic Chemistry I

An integrated approach to structure and mechanism in organic chemistry, including nomenclature, classification, properties and uses of the compounds of carbon, and spectroscopy (Infrared Spectroscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, and Mass Spectrometry).

Three hours lecture and four hours laboratory per week. Transfer courses with online labs are not eligible for course credit.
