BIOL 2405/2405L - Anatomy and Physiology II for Nurses Second half of a two-semester sequence. Explores the normal, functional morphology of humans, maintenance of the human body, and continuity of life necessary for nursing students. Topics include structures and functions of the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. The laboratory component of this course includes microscopic and gross examination of human structure and function. A hands on approach in lab supports and emphasizes material introduced in the lecture using dissection, models, and active learning approaches. This course cannot be applied to a degree in the College of Arts & Sciences.
