BIOL 2500 - Biostatistics An introductory, computer-based course. Topics include populations and samples, variables, probability distributions, descriptive statistics, statistical inference, and hypothesis testing. Choosing appropriate analyses and interpreting results are emphasized. Five hours of lecture/laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1500L or ENGR 3600
