Use and characteristics of transducers for measuring physical variables such as temperature, stress, strain, flow, pressure, and acceleration. Signal conditioning, sampling, and processing of measured data. Sources of errors and uncertainty analysis. Statistical concepts related to measured variables.

Prerequisite(s): CENG 1520  or COMP 1700 ; EENG 2200  and EENG 2200L  or EENG 2300  and EENG 2300L ; MATH 4330
