NURS 3630 - Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice

Alterations in physiological well-being across the lifespan are studied from national and global nursing perspectives as pathological responses to disease, stress, and environmental changes. Critical thinking, research-based findings, and scientific knowledge are applied to analyze clinical nursing implications and patient outcomes. Three lecture hours per week. If it has been more than four years since the student has completed BIOL 2405/2405L, BIOL 2425/2425L, or BIOL 3210/3210L, contact course coordinator.

Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing; one of the following: BIOL 2400/2400L, BIOL 2420/2420L, or BIOL 3200/3200L; one of the following: BIOL 2405/2405L, BIOL 2425/2425L, or BIOL 3210/3210L; one of the following: CHEM 1010/1010L, CHEM 1020/1020L, or CHEM 1040/1040L

This course must be taken prior to admission to the College of Nursing.
