This program introduces students to the technical and creative principles of studio and live video and audio production. Students will gain practical, hands-on experience operating professional broadcast and live event equipment - from microphones and mixing consoles to cameras, switchers, and video routing systems.

Students will plan, produce, and deliver several complete live multimedia productions and will manage audio, video, and lighting systems, handle live switching, and record a polished final output suitable for broadcast or online distribution. 

This minor allows courses to be shared with a major from the same department.
