Strength and Conditioning (BSSC), BS/MS

Mission: The mission of this program is to prepare students with the essential knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for successful careers and servant leadership in the field of strength and conditioning.

Tracks: There are two tracks students may take to prepare for the Strength and Conditioning (MSSC), MS .

Accelerated - This curriculum makes it possible for qualified students to complete both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning in less than five years. Students will declare strength and conditioning as the undergraduate major, complete liberal arts credits and prerequisites during their first three years, and the fourth year begin taking graduate courses to fulfill requirements for the bachelor’s degree. Year four graduate courses will also count toward the master’s degree. Year five will conclude the master’s degree. Entry into the graduate program may begin in the fall or spring term. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in undergraduate coursework to attempt courses in the graduate core. The master’s program academic standing requirements apply once students begin the graduate core coursework.

Traditional Track - Acceptance into the Strength and Conditioning master’s program involves a secondary application process. See the Strength and Conditioning (MSSC), MS  program for additional information.
