The Core: 44 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Core Liberal Arts  program. The following Core requirement is met within the content of the major:

• A modern foreign language satisfies 3 hours of Self and Society.

Major: 38 Hours

At least 38 hours of French (FR) courses, including 26 hours of upper-level credit, of which 11 must be 4000-level. The remaining 12 hours may include courses in elementary or intermediate French.

Required hours include:

• FR 3030 - Advanced Grammar Credit Hours: 3
• FR 3050 - French Civilization and Culture Credit Hours: 3

• or FR 3250 - Regional Language and Culture Credit Hours: 3  

• FR 3130 - Advanced Conversation Credit Hours: 3
• FR 3230 - Advanced Composition and Translation Credit Hours: 3
• FR 4330 - Advanced Phonetics Credit Hours: 3
• FR 4510 - Senior Seminar Credit Hours: 2

Minor: 18 Hours

Remaining Bible/Electives: 20 Hours
