The Graduate Certificate in Executive and Workplace Coaching is a 12-credit hour program designed for those who possess a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degree and are seeking the expertise and insights needed to provide ethical and effective coaching. Courses are taught by International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentialed faculty, and the curriculum was developed in alignment with the definition of coaching and coaching standards. As required by the ICF, the program is being evaluated for credentialing. When the program is approved, students in the first cohort will receive 60 hours of coach-specific training required for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential. Students may apply the 12 credit hours earned through the certificate towards the 30-credit hour Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership.

Requirements

All required work for the graduate certificate must be completed within four calendar years from the date of enrolling in the first graduate course.

Graduate certificates do not require candidates to have any specific technical expertise or degree in a specific field, although an undergraduate degree is required.

Applicants seeking graduate certificates must meet the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership  admission standards.
