Licensure Proficiency Concentration

Students who did not complete their counseling masters at Harding may select this concentration if they plan to pursue licensure or certification requirements in counseling. Students must complete a minimum of 12 graduate COUN hours, which must also be approved by the Mental Health and Wellness department chair. These hours are in addition to at least 54 hours of approved graduate credit.

It is the student’s responsibility to contact the licensing board in the state where they plan to practice for information concerning specific licensing and certification requirements.
