CY 5340 - Cybersecurity Investigations This course provides an advanced examination of cybersecurity investigations integrated with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodologies. The course equips students with the technical, analytical, and legal skills necessary to conduct intelligence driven cyber investigations in corporate, government, and law enforcement environments. Students will explore the intersection of digital forensics, cyber threat intelligence, and OSINT collection to support incident response, attribution, fraud detection, insider threat investigations, and cybercrime cases. Emphasis is placed on ethical intelligence gathering, legal constraints, evidentiary standards, and operational security (OPSEC) considerations.
