ACCT 5300 - Accounting Information Systems


This course examines the role of accounting professionals as users, managers, designers, and evaluators of accounting information systems (AIS). Emphasis is placed on business process analysis, data analytics, database modeling, internal controls, and emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI. Students will develop practical business analysis and technology skills through hands-on projects, real-world cases, and an integrated semester project.
