MATH 1335 - Cryptography


This course is an introduction to the mathematics necessary to understand the RSA cryptosystem. The topics include classical ciphers, prime numbers, modular arithmetic, the discrete logarithm problem, and the RSA cryptosystem.

Prerequisite(s): Math ACT of 19 or higher or MATH SAT of 510 or higher or AccuPlacer of 237 or higher or CLT of 18 or higher or one of the following: UNIV 1050 , MATH 1320 , MATH 1330
