PHS 1030 - Astronomy and Space Science Historical perspectives and current interpretations of philosophy and methodology of science with emphasis on astronomical phenomena, including direct observational experiences. Celestial phenomena, overview of the earth, the solar system, stars, and the universe, with science principles applied to astronomy. This class includes a trip to an Astronomy/NASA facility.
