NURS 3010 - Social Determinants of Health


This course explores the link of social factors, such as poverty and socioeconomic status, age, gender, and living conditions, to health outcomes for individuals, families, and populations. The contribution of society, social institutions, and policy to health disparities, and the use of social theory and research is emphasized. 45 hours in class. (Open to all university students.)
