MUS 1710 - Theory and Ear Training I
Fundamentals of part writing, choral arranging, organizational patterns, forms, music reading, and aural exercises utilizing traditional classroom instruction and computer laboratory applications. Meets five hours per week. Minimum grade of C required for advancement within the theory sequence.
Prerequisite(s): Passing score of 80 percent or higher on the Theory Entrance Examination or a grade of B or higher in MUS 1700 .
Credit Hours: 4
