IS 5540 - Applied Data Analytics


This course equips student to devise creative ways of extracting information from data in order to better solve problems. Students will study the fundamental principles and techniques of data analysis, and will examine real-world examples and cases to place data analysis techniques in context, in order to develop data-analytic thinking, and to illustrate that proper application is as much an art as it is a science.

Prerequisite(s): One of the following: IS 2100 , IS 3800 , COMP 1500 , or COMP 1700 

Credit Hours: 3
