CSD 6560 - Professional Issues, Ethics, and Business Practices

Issues related to licensure, certification, employment opportunities, and settings will be discussed. Topics regarding professional duties (i.e., role and importance of professional organizations, supervision of students and support personnel, interprofessional practice, and “top of the license” practice) will be studied. The student will exhibit successful integration of personal and professional ethics, including the SLP’s Code of Ethics, for entry into the workforce.
