BMIN 5730 - Counseling Skills An introductory lecture and experiential course providing an understanding of the counseling process in a multicultural society. An orientation to counselor characteristics, behaviors, and essential interviewing skills including crisis intervention, suicide evaluation/prevention. Students will develop competency in counseling skills by participation in counseling triad work with peers.
