ENG 3120-3123 - Writing Poetry This course focuses on the techniques and styles of contemporary poetry in order to improve student writing. Besides writing and critiquing poems produced by themselves and others in a workshop format, students will learn the terminology and concepts of prosody and traditional poetic forms, as well as modern free-verse styles. Students will also analyze poems across multiple genres for technique and style.
