CVLE 3901 - Civil Engineering Design/Build I This is the first of a linked, two-semester sequence that includes CVLE 3902 . Students must take CVLE 3902 in the next sequential semester after earning credit in CVLE 3901. Individual and team design of Civil Engineering Projects that require creative application of engineering knowledge. Issues relevant to project design and management will be addressed as students work through the design process. Provides the engineering student a hands-on opportunity to apply the engineering design process to real world engineering projects. Key skills developed in the class include: design, fabrication, project management, teamwork, leadership, oral and written communication and critical thinking. Projects will be of a basic level of difficulty. Students are expected to spend 3-5 hours per week outside of class.
