IS 6450 - Data Ethics and Privacy


Students will be introduced to concepts and frameworks of ethics in data management. The tension between ethics privacy and security will be discussed and debated. Having established a point of reference for ethical decision making, data and privacy statutes will be examined. Finally, corporate security and privacy duties, policies, responsibilities, and forms will be addressed.

Prerequisite(s): One of the following: IS 3000 , IS 5300 , or IS 6300 

Credit Hours: 3
