The preprofessional health science major is designed to recognize the academic efforts of students who are preparing for professional study in one of the various physical health areas and will have a primary Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science major other than biomedical engineering, or any degree from the departments of biology or chemistry. The BA or BS designation of this secondary major will be chosen to match that of the primary degree.

Major: 46 Hours
Leveling work, if needed, increases the total number of hours in the degree.
A primary major leading to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree is required. Because of this, a minor is not required. For the exact number of hours, consult the primary major listed elsewhere in this catalog.
