Music Major Core: 38 Hours

Music major status requires a passing score of 80 percent or higher on the Theory Entrance Examination or MUS 1700  with a grade of B or higher; and satisfactory performance on the Theory, Keyboard and Principle Applied Performance Evaluations. Bachelor of Music status requires meeting the technical proficiency and repertoire standards of the Vocal Performance major. If the standards are not met upon enrollment, the student may be admitted provisionally and must meet the standards by the beginning of the second semester in order to be considered a Vocal Performance candidate.
