Students majoring in Creative Writing gain power through an in-depth study of language and literature under scholars combined with extended practice of writing craft under successful professional writers.

Requirements

Liberal Arts: 44 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts program. The following Liberal Arts requirement is met within the content of the major:

A modern foreign language satisfies 3 hours of Self and Society.

(Must be taken in conjunction with one of the 3000-level Creative Writing courses. The capstone project will be completed and evaluated within that course, while the capstone requirement for graduation will be registered in ENG 4530.)
