UNIV 1050 - Foundations of Algebra with Lab

This course is designed to provide a strong foundation in algebra. Topics include basic arithmetic, linear equations and inequalities, systems of linear equations, integer exponents, polynomial operations, linear and quadratic functions and factoring. This course does not count as the mathematics Liberal Arts requirement, or toward a major or minor in mathematics.

Prerequisite(s): Math ACT scores of 16 - 18 or Math SAT scores of 420 - 500. 

Credit Hours: 5

Term Offered: Fall, Spring
