BENG 4100 - Medical Imaging


This course addresses the various principles of operation and image reconstruction of medical imaging equipment. Typical imaging modalities examined include: x-ray, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Image segmentation, and 2D and 3D reconstruction techniques are addressed.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2120 , EENG 3400 .
