FCS 3730 - Child Life Theory and Practice


Exploration of the theoretical base for intervention to prevent serious and long-term consequences of children’s adverse emotional reactions to hospitalization and other medical encounters and the importance of family involvement. Students learn tools, techniques and guidelines for child life programs. Students will be required to have a background check, drug test, TB test, and provide shot records before the course begins.

Prerequisite(s): FCS 2070
