ENG 2450 - Readings in C. S. LewisThis course lets students read the works of C. S. Lewis widely and deeply, going beyond the most famous texts they may already know to his works on theology, science fiction, philosophy, and ethics. The course examines the historical, philosophical, and aesthetic contexts of Lewis's works as well as the subsequent influence that his writing has had on Christian imagination philosophy. While the course is reading-heavy rather than writing-heavy, students will produce a project that engages with Lewis's work and thought in a creative way. Credit Hours: 3 Term Offered: Fall of even years |
