NURS 100 - Introduction to NursingAn introductory course designed to familiarize students with the profession of nursing from a historical perspective, national nursing trends, and to promote teamwork across multiple healthcare disciplines. The mission of developing nurses as Christian servants is explored. The development of professional identity and nursing roles are discussed. The course is required of students prior to admission into the nursing program. A grade of "C" or higher is required. Open to all students. This course is eligible for honors credit.
