MATH 520 - Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications


Topics in discrete mathematics will be investigated including countability and counting arguments, mathematical induction, graph theory, combinatorics, recursion, recurrence relations and number theory with an emphasis on applications in today's world.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Sufficient mathematical background as determined by the instructor - enrollment by consent only.
