The expected Program Learning Outcomes for this major are:
- Students will:

understand the harmony between science and Christianity and be able to defend evidences for God as the creator.

apply ethical principles and the Christian worldview in the practice of science.

be able to communicate scientific information effectively through writing and oral presentations.

demonstrate competence in the fundamental principles and concepts of chemistry.

Students will analyze data and scientific arguments in order to develop explanations to new situations.

be able to work productively with a team of peers.

be able to use appropriate databases and other resources to locate information in the primary literature to learn new concepts and apply this knowledge to scientific problems.

be able to critically analyze the primary literature.
