The expected Program Learning Outcomes for this major are:
- Graduates will:
- describe the concepts and interplay of cardiac function, diseases, and therapies.
- perform interpretation and evaluation of cardiac rhythm disorders.
- evaluate and optimize cardiac implantable electronic devices.
- provide entry-level industry support of cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology study procedures.
- effectively communicate cardiac function and technology concepts with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Students and graduates will:
- demonstrate cultural sensitivity in their interactions with individuals in clinical settings.
- hold professional ethics to the highest level.
