Physical Therapy, DPT

The expected Program Learning Outcomes for this program are for the student to:

• Demonstrate entry-level knowledge and critical thinking in all didactic curricular knowledge and entry-level practical clinical skills, including but not limited to physical therapy evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning by the end of their clinical experiences.
• Demonstrate entry-level competence in oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for evidence based physical therapy practice.
• Apply the skills of scientific inquiry in a scholarly project.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in interactions with patients, employers and others with whom they interact with in clinical settings, in a domestic or foreign physical therapy Christian service mission.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for professionalism and life-longlearning, holding professional ethics to the highest level.
• Demonstrate respect for fellow students, faculty, staff and other members of the Harding University community and other communities of which they are a part.
