Information Assurance and Security (Graduate)

The graduate certificate or concentration in Information Assurance and Security is offered 100% online and equips students to understand and communicate cybersecurity risks to internal teams and external clients, make sound strategic decisions related to investments in cybersecurity, and understand cybersecurity risk management and reporting frameworks.

Graduate certificates afford flexible options of staged credentialing for those who do not necessarily want to change careers or pursue a graduate degree, but see the need to increase their understanding and skill in these areas in order to perform better in their chosen careers.

Requirements

All required work for the graduate certificate must be completed within four calendar years from the date of enrolling in the first graduate course.

Graduate certificates do not require candidates to have any specific technical expertise or degree in a specific field, although an undergraduate degree is required.

Applicants seeking graduate certificates must meet Graduate School of Business admission standards.

Note(s):

Courses completed in the certificate program can be applied toward the Master of Science in information systems.
