English and Business Communication Major (EBCO), BA

The B.A. in English and Business Communication equips graduates with a robust set of skills in writing, empathy, critical thinking, aesthetics, deep understanding, and creative problem solving–along with key training in entrepreneurship, economics, management, business ethics, and media. This degree is ideal for students aiming to apply excellent writing and research skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of others in business or corporate settings. It also equips students well for pursuing advanced study in law school or other graduate or professional schooling.

Requirements

Liberal Arts: 44 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts program. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

ECON 2010 satisfies 3 hours of Self and Society.

Recommended:

MATH 1200 or higher is recommended to satisfy 3 hours of Inquiry, Investigation, and Reasoning.

Note:
