BIOL 1200 - Human Structure and Function


Structure and function of selected human organ systems and the cellular mechanisms and processes upon which they are based. Circulatory, digestive, nervous, musculoskeletal, and respiratory systems. Designed for majors in communication disorders, dietetics, nursing, physical education, and others who need an introduction to human anatomy and physiology. This course satisfies the Liberal Arts requirement in Inquiry, Investigation, and Reasoning, but does not count toward a major or minor in biology.
