HNRS 1050 - Honors Business Experience


For students who have completed their junior year of high school. Designed to introduce prospective students to the academic programs at Harding. Students will be introduced to the world of business and economics while experiencing hands-on the variety of tasks in which businesses are involved. The students will be exposed to the various facets of business (economics, management, marketing, finance, accounting, information systems, personal finance, entrepreneurship, business law, sales, real estate and trade) through lectures, discussions, field trips, hands-on simulations, and projects. The three credit hour class will give three hours of honors credit and may be later applied to fulfill ECON 2010 .

This course may not be taken as a repeat for a completed liberal arts course or to satisfy an additional liberal arts requirement.
