Cardiac Function and Interventional Technology, MS


The expected Program Learning Outcomes for this major are:

  • Graduates will:
    • describe the concepts and interplay of cardiac function, diseases, and therapies.
    • perform interpretation and evaluation of cardiac rhythm disorders.
    • evaluate and optimize cardiac implantable electronic devices.
    • provide entry-level industry support of cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology study procedures.
    • effectively communicate cardiac function and technology concepts with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Students and graduates will:
    • demonstrate cultural sensitivity in their interactions with individuals in clinical settings.
